Abstract- A taxonomy for the classification of mobile applications of government services in municipalities of Argentina is presented. It has a set of categories and subcategories that allow mobile applications to be classified according to the interaction of citizens with them. For the development of said taxonomy, 53 municipalities of Argentina were selected and 89 mobile applications offered and developed by said municipalities were analyzed. Finally, all the analyzed mobile applications were classified according to the defined taxonomy.
