D8.2 DISSEMINATION REPORT YEAR 1
This report covered an overview of the dissemination and exploitation activities in year one of the CAP4CITY project. It included details of activities from all twelve partners of the Consortium. The report details the target audiences for each pilot and evaluates dissemination and exploitation progress against the initial expectations set out in the report 8.1 Dissemination and Exploitation Plan V1. It also details the promotional materials, online and electronic activities (including social media); events and networking, scientific publications and media coverage of CAP4CITY project. Following the summary of results, CAP4CITY project had in the first year of project an overall average of success rate of 143%. It means CAP4CITY project overachieved 43% in terms of all the 37 initial planned goals for first year, from a planned 113 goals in the total for the 3 years. However, some strategies and actions didn’t work well as initially planned. As an example, CAP4CITY project didn’t create a Press release in the month 6. Also, the CAP4city project didn’t have any media coverage by offline or online media (e.g. newspapers, interviews on Television or any traditional media). Both positive and challenging results lead WP8 leaders to change for more realistic goals, such as reducing or increasing them in accordance with the first year result. As an example, adjusting the indicators about website (I1, I2, I3), in accordance with the success of our website. On the other hand, delaying the monitoring of social media after relevant milestones, publications, workshops and conferences participations, presented in the indicators Q1 to Q10. Overall, the dissemination and exploitation activities were on schedule and reaching the targeted groups, however, some indicators there was more progress, whereas, less on others. This report will help to fine tune the next dissemination and exploitation plan, leading to a better dissemination and exploitation strategy with more accurate goals and indicators.
